Maharashtra PGM PGD CET

Maharashtra Post Graduate Medical Post Graduate Dental Common Entrance Test (MH PGM PGD CET) is an entrance examination by which admission to various Post Graduate Medical and Post Graduate Dental courses available in different medical and dental institutes and colleges of Maharashtra. A greater number of candidates appear for Maharashtra PGM PGD CET from across the Maharashtra. Interested candidates start their preparations either from well recognized centers or from themselves. The exam includes conceptual and tricky questions. The students have to be very conscious while marking the correct answers. There are a number of colleges in Maharashtra in which admission is through PGM PGD CET.

For admission to various medical and dental colleges of Maharashtra, candidates need to qualify an entrance exam which is held under the control of the Directorate of Medical Education & Research, Maharashtra. There are eighteen medical and dental colleges in Maharashtra in which admission is through PGM PGD CET. These college campuses have well stocked library, maintained labs and modern class rooms for their students. These colleges provide internet connections throughout the campus and transportation facility to its students. These colleges have separate residential facility for boys and girls.

Students from different cities of Maharashtra and also from several states of India are showing higher attention towards this exam and put all their hard work to get admission in the postgraduate courses under various medical and dental colleges of Maharashtra. This entrance exam is an yearly based exam which is considered as amongst the tough exam that candidates have to face for making their future bright. Every year candidates are filling the forms and giving good response. Students who have obtained their degree form a university outside Maharashtra can also appear for PGM PGD CET through 15% seats reserved for All India candidates. Rest of the seats is reserved for Maharashtra domiciled candidates.

Eligibility criteria:
in order to sit in the entrance test of PGM PGD CET a candidate should posses a MBBS/BDS degree from a institute recognized by Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India. The candidates whose internship will be completed before the 31st of March, 2011 can also apply to sit in this examination.
